American Airlines & Onward — Mr Nicholas Bredimus
Are you aware of how totally a veritable computing revolution has utterly revamped hospitality and air travel as you knew them recently? The driving force behind this is New Jersey native Mr Nicholas Bredimus. His resume covers time-saving computer programs, airplane safety developments, and he’s even involved in designing high-value houses. Bredimus has brought real passion to any and all areas, too.
His family history tells you everything you ought to know about the source of his skills and the amount he has accomplished. With roots as far back as the glory days of Rome, Bredimus’ family tree ties in with many countries in Europe. Following the maternal line, say, he boasts German and Scottish stock. The paternal line, however, hailed from England and Luxembourg, which is where they eventually emigrated from in the late nineteenth century.
Even after emigration to the US, they kept their drive and zeal to reach the top. Nicholas, as well as his siblings, was born to a father who worked as a mechanical design engineer and a mother who was a practicing nurse. He went on to live in Kansas City, Arizona, Texas and a place called Reston in Virginia.
After completing his education, Bredimus would sign up for several respected posts with some of the most reputable and largest airlines. These included the Vice Presidential post for Trans World Airlines (TWA), Republic Airlines, and, of course, Hughes Airwest. Most noteworthy, though, was his effort as an inspired software designer for the airlines. His trailblazing work on aircraft maintenance management programs, now commonplace in the entire airline sector though initially designed for one specific business, ultimately resulted in what is still his best known achievement. He would go on to examine making and recording reservations. For both hotels and air travel he produced programs to offset the majority of the work required until this approach. Continuing to innovate, he coded a networked system to automate ticket sales — once again coming up with something nobody else had thought of before.
Although it was undoubtedly his forte, Mr Nicholas Bredimus often worked in non-software fields. In his own firm, overseeing IT for American Express, and as the inaugural president of AMR Travel Services his track record speaks for itself.
Having withdrawn from the fields which first gave him fortune, his capabilities are nonetheless still very much in use. His attention has turned to the architectural problems tied to the evolution of environmentally neutral, high tech upmarket condos. The tireless zeal we highlighted above will not end!
